Angela Hunt is a graduate student at the University of Kansas, pursuing her master’s degree in Higher Education Administration. She has always had a passion for working with students and providing mentorship to all. While pursuing her undergraduate degree, Angela worked closely with campus faculty to build a mentoring program to provide support for underclassmen students. She also served in various leadership roles on campus that developed her passion for working in the field of higher education. This past year, she served as a graduate assistant through the University of Kansas Office of Admissions where she worked to recruit prospective students through various outreach strategies and supervised a team of over 100 student employees to provide quality campus tours. She believes in the value of a college education and making sure students are adequately prepared upon graduation from high school. Upon receiving her master’s degree, Angela plans to enter the field of higher education to support students during their transition to college. In her free time, Angela enjoys finding new opportunities to challenge herself and enjoys running, reading, traveling, and giving back to the community around her.
