Danielle Donnell is a junior at the University of Central Missouri, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in International Studies and Spanish, with a minor in Political Science. In 2019, Danielle studied abroad for a semester at the University of Alcalá in Alcalá de Henares, Spain, where she took classes for her International Studies major and traveled throughout Spain and Europe in her free time. In the summer of 2019 she was awarded a scholarship through UCM for a two-week service project in Tanzania, where she taught English to the local primary and secondary schools. This past summer, Danielle interned at Global FC as their Mentor Intern. While at Global FC Danielle was immersed into the refugee and immigrant community in Kansas City, which further strengthened her interest in learning about different cultures and getting involved in the Kansas City community. In the future, Danielle plans to apply for the Fulbright Scholarship or teach English abroad. In her free time, Danielle enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.
